Participation in East Valley Youth Football & Cheer provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety-oriented environment. Our cheer program emphasizes fun for all and encourages the development of qualities essential to life.
The participants in the EVPW program are unique as opposed to those of other programs. While we teach the values of competition, we also help maintain their grades at a satisfactory level in order to attain the ultimate prize of being named National Cheerleading Champion. We salute all the efforts and accomplishments that our participants put forward!

Competitions
Each year, the Pop Warner National Cheer & Dance Championships feature more than 300 of the nation's top youth cheerleading and dance teams competing at the HP Field House within ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex.
For a cheerleading or dance squad, the difficult road to the national championship is quite similar to that of the football teams’.
A spirit squad will showcase their best (2:30) two minute and thirty second routine at a league championship. The top two cheer and dance squads advance to regional competition. Cheer teams advance in the following size divisions: small, medium and large in the YCADA PW 1, PW 2, PW 3 and PW 4 Skill Levels.
At regional competition, a spirit squad will again perform their top (2:30) two-minute and thirty second routine in hopes of winning. The first and second place squads in the region in each cheer and dance division are invited to perform at Disney’s Wide World of Sports™ in hopes of winning a national championship for their local association.
