Links to EVPW League Volunteers
All Volunteers who interact on game or practice fields with players MUST be background checked and have an EVPW Badge that they wear to ALL games. No exceptions. Ever.
All other team volunteers are given their roles at the discretion of the Head Coach.
The EVPW board reserves the right to revoke badge privileges from any volunteer at any time and for any reason with majority vote of the board.

A Trainer is a representative of EVPW at all times. As a league we expect you to be an example to your players and the community, while serving as a volunteer with EVPW.
Trainers are usually volunteers who are certified in some manner to be better able to handle injury situations. Doctors, nurses, first responders or sports medicine specialists are candidates for the role of Trainer. They may be responsible for the creation and/or management of the team first aid kit, emergency, injury response and tending to injured players at practice or at games.
The role of trainer is chosen by the Head Coach if the volunteer's credentials warrant the designation.
First Aid Kit
The first aid kit should travel to every practice and every game.
Injury Ice
At each practice and game, the team should have access to ice and ziplock bags for injuries. or reusable or disposable ice packs.
Health Items
Be aware of the location of emergency devices like inhalers or blood test kits, insulin or similar items needed for players with health concerns.
Emergency Contact List
Maintain and updated an emergency contact list.
